CO SPRINGS: Colder than expected
CO: Terribly diverse and beautiful but a bitch to drive through
WICHITA: Most mediocre place in America
KS: The windy state
MO: smells like smoked salmon
OK: Wait how did we get here?
FAYETTEVILLE: Much cooler and less ghetto than the NC one
AR: Sightly underrated as a state, but still couldn't really tell you where it was on an empty map.
MEMPHIS: Smells like ribs.
NASHVILLE: Just as hip and full of talent as all TV shows make it out to be.
TN: Full of exclusively awful drivers and tickling music
ASHEVILLE: Best beer location East of the Mississippi
NC: Always remember there was nothing worth sharing // Like the love that let us share our name
MIAMI: As our Uber driver said, "New York is full of bad drivers because everyone is impatient. Miami is full of bad drivers because everyone is a bad driver."
FL: A good warm-up to the temperatures/sweat to come. Pun intended.
HAVANA: Touristy but not overrated.
PINAR DEL RÍO: Filled with shitty men that made you dread going outside and avoid all samba clubs
VIÑALES: White people everywhere but not hard to ditch them for amazing scenery and countryside adventures
PUERTO ESPERANZA: Sleepy fisherman town.
CAYO JUTÍAS: The definition of paradise but does not exist after 5pm
MATANZAS: The city of bridges lacks tourists
CIENFUEGOS: Beautiful art, architecture, music and surroundings in general
PLAYA GIRÓN: Basically a hotel in a historic place
SANTA CLARA: So progressive that you need at least 3 piercings and 2 tattoos to live there but beautifully liberal, young and vibrant
TRINIDAD: Technical tourism surrounded by classic French beauty and organic nightlife and badass salsa
SANCTI SPIRITUS: Trinidad minus tourism and excitement
BAYAMO: Very nondescript Cuban suburb town that gave you a slightly boring taste of mundane life while you're on vacation in the tropics
SANTO DOMINGO: A rainforest heaven with 45degree roads so that you earn your stay there
PICO TURQUINO: Up-downs for 2 days straight with a peak that could have been anywhere in the world but terribly humbling, beautiful, and ends on the Caribbean.
CAMAGUËY: A beautiful historic place that deserves to not only be seen at night, but was wonderfully ominous and secretive
VARADERO: Great stocking stuffers available here
CUBA: The most hidden of all the gems, if your mindset is right and your eyes and heart are open.
CANCÚN: tourists, tacos and tequila. What more could you want for a 3 day long layover?
MEXICO: Very much not Cancún. Much more cultural, historical, delicious and cheap.
